Fees Refund Policy

Applicants are required to pay all, or a portion (with prior written approval from the BMC Council), of their fees (registration fees, licence fees, and/or administration fees) for any qualifications unless registration is officially cancelled prior to taking possession of certification(s). If an applicant does cancel prior to taking possession of certification(s) or if an incorrect payment (subject to BMC Council review) is made, 100% of all fees (excluding any administration fees) will be refunded.

Cancellation occurs on the calendar day that the request was made online or in person at the Bahamas Medical Council. BMC does not provide a pro-rated refunds. NO REFUNDS will be issued after applicant, or their representatives have taken possession of certification(s).

Exceptions

Exceptions to the fees policy as stated on our website will be considered for extenuating circumstances. The Refund Review Committee will review the application and determine whether or not any additional refund will be made. The committee is comprised of representatives from the BMC Council.
